As a CBH Tenancy Management Officer you will work within a team of six Tenancy Management Officers and two Tenancy Management Assistants, based at our Hester's Way Community Resource Centre area office.   
 
Managing an area of approximately 700 to 800 properties within Cheltenham, you will spend most of your time actively working with our customers in our communities.

Although this role is predominantly customer facing, there is an opportunity to work from home on occasions and in an agile way.

This is your opportunity to work in fast paced and varied environment, with a focus on Risk Based Tenancy Management, working with our customers to understand and address factors affecting the sustainability of their tenancy.  
 
 You will be person centred and driven, with a tenacious ‘can do’ attitude, focused on achieving positive outcomes from challenging cases.  

Essential
This role currently requires you to have a vehicle available for work
Holder of an accredited housing management qualification and/or relevant experience in a housing management role.
Experience of delivering tenancy management services to a varied pool of tenants, including those defined as vulnerable and those with complex needs
Ability to manage high workloads and competing priorities
Well-developed communication skills with a wide range of audiences
High level of oral and written communication skills
Strong, interpersonal and motivational skills
Excellent relationship builder
Ability to work effectively with tenants, leaseholders, staff, peers, partners and contractors
An Understanding of performance measures in relation to service provision and management
