A glance at the role:

We have the opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor working on our Pensions Helpdesk. You will provide the highest standard of customer service to members, employers and 3rd parties. The role is predominantly focused on answering pensions queries via telephone in respect of the public sector pension schemes administered by LPPA. This is an exciting time to join us as we move to a brand-new collaborative workspace in Preston City Centre.

What you’ll be doing:

- Assisting customers via telephone to resolve all queries
- Delivering a flexible and responsive service in line with the needs of the business
- Taking ownership of individual enquiries and customer requests
- Able to work independently without close supervision
- Ability to meet agreed quality and performance targets

What we need from you:

- Experience of working in a contact centre/customer service environment
- Experience in telephone and/or email communication with customers
- Experience of working to, and achieving, challenging targets with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with queries in an empathetic and efficient manner
- Competency in using multiple ICT systems including email

Qualifications

- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above
