As we continue to grow, we’re now seeking a Quality Manager to join our Construction Team, in Verwood, on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Quality Manager, you will implement and roll out our new Integrated Management System, oversee its effective operation and ensure we remains compliant with industry legislation.

Specifically, you will audit, monitor and review the IMS and take a leading role in the preparation and maintenance of audit schedules and external audits.

Challenging processes, controls and documents to ensure they add value, you will actively look for new approaches, best practices or technologies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Additionally, you will:

- Help to maintain ISO:9001 and assist in gaining ISO:14001 and 18001
- Ensure non-conformances are identified and resolved
- Design and develop quality management initiatives, policies and processes
- Write Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and other process documents
- Promote management policies, objectives and key performance indicators
- Represent quality practices at meetings

Please note, this role will involve travel throughout the UK and occasionally further afield.

About You

To be considered as a Quality Manager, you will need:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction for a Contractor
- An advanced level of Quality Management knowledge within the industry together with formal auditor training and good audit skills
- Experience with construction industry safety regulations
- A proven track record of driving continuous quality improvements.
- Clear understanding of construction methods and technology
- A good level of IT literacy
- A full, valid driving licence, preferably clean
- A Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a construction management, civil engineering or quantity surveying related discipline
