To do this, we lead on developing and regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, data and research to improve care.

We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our Research, Data and Intelligence Team on a permanent, flexible basis.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will develop and implement our workforce data collection processes.

Critically reviewing our data collection methods and results, you’ll clearly present your findings to inform our internal development and identity any areas of concern or opportunities for improvements.

You’ll ensure high quality and accurate data collection and maintain standards and processes for data management and analysis.

Additionally, you will:

- Support colleagues and external points of contact to understand the data
- Work with our Senior Data Officer to summarise and visually present the results of data analysis

About You

To be considered as a Data Analyst, you will need:

- Experience of working in a data analysis capacity
- Experience of advising others on data management and analysis processes
- Experience of communicating and disseminating findings from data analysis
- Experience of using packages such as Power BI to develop creative outputs
- Knowledge of statistical methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of the legislative requirements around data protection and data collection and use
- Advanced MS Office software suites skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A degree or an equivalent qualification
