Hours: 15, 22.5 or 30 hours available.
Daily Hours: 07.45 - 16.15 2 / 3 / 4 days out of 7
Salary: £19,678 FTE. Actual salary dependant on hours

About You:
• NVQ level 2/3 or City and Guilds qualified or at least 2 years’ woodwork/joinery experience
• Competent with power and hand tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to multitask and prioritise own workload
• Able to work well on own initiative and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail with a focus on creating high quality products
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at Work
• Must be able to undertake manual handling operations.

About the role:
• Working closely with the Enterprise Manager, use your creative talents to produce saleable items from reclaimed wood such as planters, tables, benches, coat hooks etc.. in a time effective manner.
• Ensure you create the most value from the raw materials that are salvaged.
• Prepare for peak sales times by planning ahead and stockpiling popular items such as planters for spring, pallet trees for Christmas etc..
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and other personnel as needed to assist in the smooth running of the enterprise.
• Assist the Enterprise Manager in ensuring the enterprise premises and equipment are always safe and secure; make sure risk assessments, safe systems of work and departmental induction training are all in place.
• Work as part of a team, assisting others to ensure the enterprise runs smoothly and covering during periods of absence.
