We are now looking for a Procurement Support Assistant to join our growing Procurement and Facilities Team, on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Procurement Support Assistant, you will undertake a range of administrative duties in support of procurement across the organisation.

Specifically, you’ll provide admin support including arranging and co-ordinating meetings and drafting letters, reports, presentations and briefings.

You’ll contribute to the efficient running of the administrative procurement support systems and procedures by ensuring that information is accurate and relevant, providing advice to colleagues and maintaining audits trails.

Responding to emails, letters and phone calls, you will ensure that enquires are promptly dealt with.

About You

To be considered as a Procurement Support Assistant, you will need:

- Experience developing guidance and instructions
- Experience supporting projects and programmes
- Experience of business administration
- An understanding of the importance of obtaining value for money, balancing quality and price, including life cycle costs
- Knowledge and familiarity of public procurement policy and associated compliance implications
- A degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant field
