The General Services Office, at the U.S. Embassy in London, is looking for experienced hardworking Warehouse Workers to join their warehouse team. Tasks include:

- Performing loading and unloading of furniture, appliances, etc. from trucks/vans to the warehouse.
- Assisting in organizing, preparation and the delivery of items from the warehouse to office buildings, residential properties, and other locations.
- Operating forklifts, trolleys and other electrical or mechanical handling equipment to safely move and transport heavy items.
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries to include tagging, stock placement and picking and packing orders.
- Assists with annual inventory ensuring that all items are stored properly, no theft has accrued, no safety or fire hazards exist.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

EDUCATION:
Completion of secondary school is required.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in manual labor or warehouse work is required.

LANGUAGE:
Good working knowledge of written & spoken English is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Good working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must have a valid full manual UK driver's licence.
