We are currently looking for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician to join our team in Lincoln on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

The Role

As an EC&I Technician, you’ll assist with the maintenance and performance of our plant at our EfW (Energy from Waste) facility in Lincoln.

Undertaking fault finding and repairs across our electrical and control systems, you will ensure we achieve maximum plant reliability, flexibility, availability and performance.

Ensuring you follow H&S, quality and environmental standards, you will work on electrical/control systems and equipment and heavy process environment. You will diagnose, maintain, execute and repair plant and equipment from across the facility.

About You

To be considered as an EC&I Technician, you will need:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in power generation operations and maintenance
- Practical operational and/or maintenance experience and/or knowledge
- Experience of heavy process plant maintenance activity
- An understanding of all HSE aspects
- Knowledge of Steam turbines, boilers, electrical generation and distribution up to 33kV
- Knowledge of plant control, instrumentation and computer-aided MMS
- Good IT skills
- ONC, City and Guilds and/or NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
