We are currently looking for a Night Transport Clerk to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working the night shift, Monday to Friday, 9.30pm - 6.00am.

The Role

As a Transport Clerk, you will support the effective operation of our Erith Warehouse by providing excellent administrative and customer service support.

You will help to co-ordinate deliveries by acting as a link between our customers and drivers, ensuring drivers receive the information needed to accurately meet customer requests.

Acting as the first point of contact for customers, you will manage customer enquiries such as order requests and provide excellent resolutions to any customer complaints.

Additionally, you will make your manager aware of any issues with instructions, PPE or health and safety procedures and support resolutions.

About You

To be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need:

- Experience in transport and/or a warehouse environment
- The proven ability to effectively interact with customers
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- To be a team player who can use your initiative
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
