Our client is a newly incorporated, fast-growing business that facilitates the success and expansion of the logistics for an outdoor living retail and wholesale business.

Our client has a dedicated team of over 100 people incorporating marketing and purchasing, warehouse and showroom staff, all offering incredible customer service at every stage of the customer journey.

They are currently seeking a Goods Out Manager, to join them at their Cambridge warehouse, on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Goods Out Manager, you will manage the efficient day-to-day running of our client’s warehouse.

Taking responsibility for the timely dispatch of customers’ orders, you will create and organise picklists and ensure goods leaving the warehouse will reach customers safely.

You will ensure staff use, maintain and record the use of forklifts and pump trucks correctly and that courier companies supply the correct logistics transport.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage warehouse stock takes
- Provide excellent communication and co-ordination to the warehouse team
- Carry out quality checks on outgoing deliveries
- Manage staff training

About You

To be considered as a Goods Out Manager, you will need:

- Experience of warehouse management
- A solutions-based approach to organising your work
- Attention to detail
- The ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- To be committed to learning about our product range
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own transport (due to our client’s location)
