This is a fantastic opportunity to join The B2W Group, a well-established and successful organisation. Due to significant and sustained growth in all parts of the business, the B2W Group are seeking to appoint a DBS Tutor / Curriculum Co-ordinator.

This role is predominantly working remotely, with the expectation of some attendance to the office for specific events (meetings, training etc). The role is initially for a fixed-term contract to until September 2023.
The DBS Tutor/Curriculum Content Writer will have exceptional knowledge of the further education landscape for adult learning to produce innovative and engaging up-to-date learning resources. They will have experience in writing education resources and the ability to provide expert teaching, learning and assessment support across our level 1 - 3 digital and creative qualifications.
The post holder will work in collaboration with the Head of DBS Provision and the Curriculum Lead to ensure the curriculum meets both awarding bodies, local priority and learner needs following a robust curriculum approval process that focuses on the 3IIIs (Intent, Implementation, Impact).
The post holder would support the delivery of an outstanding learning experience on behalf of B2W to learners in preparation for their next steps.

Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of training to groups of learners working towards an accredited qualification currently online in digital and creative subjects at levels 1 to 3.
• Support the primary tutor in engaging learners at course start to provide a smooth learning experience.
• Mark learners’ assessments providing a clear assessment of and for learning where appropriate.
• Engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate learners to help them realise their potential.
• Working with the tutor to follow the TLA plans, whilst encouraging, nurturing, and motivating the learners to succeed.
• Familiarity with educational resource formats such as lesson plans is key
• Develop, edit and coordinate the writing of qualifications & learning resources and support the launch effectively to sectors ensuring access for all learners.
• Recognise and understand the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and develop learning resources with a clear Intent, effective Implementation plan and robust Impact measures.
• Creation of curriculum approval plans, curriculum links and content that supports the delivery of curriculum objectives.
• Working to a pre-set formula and delivering content at speed.
• Ensuring online learning materials on the VLE is fully accessible and engaging to the learner
• To actively research new and innovative learning strategies and approaches that improve the experience of our learners and customers and engage our staff in innovative approaches and ways of thinking.
• To continually seek new and innovative ways to improve what we do and how we do it to ensure we are effective and efficient as a directorate.
• To actively improve curriculum to ensure that content is sequenced in a way to ensure learners retain all knowledge learnt.
• Take responsibility for Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, Data Protection and Safeguarding. The post holder will also comply with all information and training supplied and discuss any concerns with their Head of Department.
• Attend and contribute to regular standardisation, the whole staff and learning support team meetings.

Standardisation of Practice (as required):
• Work with colleagues to improve teaching, learning and assessment.
• Where necessary contribute to the devising of processes and procedures to improve the overall quality and consistency of programmes.
• Managing your own professional development through undertaking relevant training and sharing best practices with other trainers.
