We are currently looking for an Estimator to join our Construction Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will provide our Sales Team with accurate costs and procurement rates for an exceptional array of projects.

Specifically, you’ll provide pre-construction costings for services, materials, labour, equipment and subcontractors to enable us to win new projects. You’ll be working on everything from educational buildings and football club training pavilions to head offices for essential charities!

Scheduling new and upcoming projects, you will maximise our cost efficiency and drive down preliminary costs. You will identify potential suppliers and use your expert skills to negotiate and manage the best supplier contracts.

Additionally, you will attend pre-budget meetings and report any concerns that might negatively impact project costs or deadlines.

About You

To be considered as an Estimator, you will need:

- Significant construction estimation experience
- Experience of working on a wide range of projects from housing to public sector
- Experience with a wide variety of building materials
- Experience of working on larger projects up to £5,000,000 in value
- A relevant academic or professional qualification in the construction field, ideally a Master's degree or chartered professional status
