We are growing, and fast. Our operational capability to deliver larger and more complex projects more effectively and more efficiently must reflect that. We are now seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Commercial Manager to join our commercial team.

The Role

As the Commercial Manager, you will manage the entire commercial department, providing the team with leadership and strategic direction.

You will prepare contracts correctly to reduce risk and ensure all opportunities are realised. Forecasting accurate commercial reports, you will liaise with our clients and the Sales and Construction teams to prevent construction delays and additional costs.

In this senior level role, you will maximise business growth and profitability, monitor and control internal processes and seek to protect our projects and the wider business.

Additionally, you will:

- Review contracts, agreements and Terms & Conditions
- Advise clients and team members on legal matters
- Monitor subcontractors, construction progress and any changes which may impact costs
- Develop, maintain and implement commercial policies and procedures
- Co-ordinate with the Sales Team on new and upcoming projects

About You

To be considered as the Commercial Manager, you will need

- Significant experience in the construction industry, ideally in a commercial manager role or similar
- Quantity surveying experience
- Experience working on construction projects over £250,000 in value
- Professional qualifications from an engineering or construction institute (such as RICS)
