About us
Our Reading shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. The shop feels fresh, vibrant and unique. Reading is an interesting store with a busy vibe and welcoming upbeat atmosphere. Our store really does offer something for all charity shoppers, be they collectors, vintage enthusiasts, bargain hunters or all and in-between. We have a vintage and retro boutique where you can find great value fashion, antiques and collectable's. You can also pick up a bargain with our large choice of ladies and men’s fashion. Reading also has a wide range of new goods including homeware, cards and wool.

About you
Do you have an eye for a bargain, get excited about sustainable fashion or love helping customers discover pre-loved treasures? As a Retail Customer Service & Till volunteer you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience.

Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
