We are now looking for a Closed Site Supervisor to join our team in Norfolk and oversee sites throughout the region.

The Role

As the Closed Site Supervisor, you will manage a portfolio of closed landfill sites throughout the Norfolk and east of England area. This will include locations in Aldeby, Feltwell, Grunty Fen, Kennett, Kentford, Kilverstone, Fornham Park, Thorington and Poringland.

Working alongside Site Business Managers, you will oversee all aspects of site operations and projects including restoration and engineering streams. You will ensure that sites are safe and compliant with company and Environment Agency regulations.

Additionally, you will work to site budgets and the P&L conditions of projects, ensure project strategies are adhered to and build good relationships with local regulatory bodies and staff.

This role will require inspections of sites to be carried out in person at sites throughout the Norfolk area.

About You

To be considered as a Closed Site Supervisor, you will need:

- Hands-on operational experience in a supervisory position within the waste industry
- A working understanding of environmental issues including gas control, leachate, surface water and Permits
- A good level of IT literacy
- A COTC or equivalent qualification in all areas of responsibility or the ability to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment
- A full, valid driving licence
