The Estate management team deliver block management services for apartment block sand freehold estates nationwide. Ensuring that our customers live in safe environments and can enjoy their homes we take responsibility for all aspects of service to the common areas of the development we manage.

We are now looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Service Charge Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial success of a portfolio of housing developments.

You will ensure that budget packs are produced and reviewed with the Property Manager in time for year-end, as well as reporting on cashflow or budget developments.

Providing effective management of accounts, you will oversee CHP system recharges, update the property database, raise demands and monitor service charge emails.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure all financial records are completed
- Send out relevant service charger communications
- Assist with credit control activities

Who we’re looking for

An accountancy professional. This role will require in depth knowledge of best practices and processes for accountancy, so we’re looking for someone who is either studying towards or has completed an AAT qualification.

An analytical and data focused person. We need someone with the ability to build a picture through the accurate collation of data and produce clear reports using excellent spelling and grammar.

Someone with an eye for detail. Property is a fast-paced sector, so we need a person who can work quickly and accurately on our IT systems, with excellent spelling and grammar.

Ideally, you will have experience within the property management industry.
