Dacorum Borough Council is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Trees and Woodlands Officer to work within our Clean, Safe and Green Department.

The successful individual will assist in the management of tree stock across Dacorum Borough, including on highway and housing land, in parks, open spaces and woodlands.

You will be required to liaise with a number of stakeholders including Local and Parish Councillors, MPs, County Council Officers, Community Groups and residents as well as providing advice to our own Planning Department and also representing Dacorum Borough Council at Public Enquiries where necessary.

You will work alongside colleagues managing the Boroughs open spaces, woodlands and conservation areas and have experience of producing and updating management plans (Green Flag) and other policies.

You must have achieved as a minimum a Level 4 qualification in Arboriculture, a Professional Tree Inspection qualification and have at least 2 years post qualification experience in the Arboricultural field.
