Hours: 25 hours
Job Type: Fixed Term - Part-Time (Maternity Cover - 1 Year)
Location: Balham
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday - 12pm - 5pm

About the role

As a Receptionist, you will be the organisation’s first point of contact for front of house services. You will be responsible for ensuring the reception is always presentable and tidy, greeting visitors/staff and co-ordinating front-desk activities. You will also be vigilant in ensuring the security of the building, as well as providing administrative support to other departments.

Duties will include:

- Greeting and welcoming guests and staff on entry
- Maintaining office security, providing building access and performing health & safety checks
- Ensuring visitors are directed to the appropriate person or department
- Answering, screening and forwarding all incoming calls and accurately relaying messages
- Receiving, sorting and distributing all outgoing and incoming post and deliveries
- Managing calendars and scheduling meetings

About you

To be a Receptionist at Certitude, the following are essential:

- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Highly effective written and spoken communication skills, with different people from a variety of backgrounds
- Must be willing to be flexible on occasion due to business needs
- Willing to take care of your health and safety and that of other persons
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
