The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will become part of a specialist team looking after our customers’ high-end CCTV systems.

Delivering a high-quality service to our customers, you will undertake system maintenance tasks including servicing IP cameras and associated equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical problems and escalating issues to senior colleagues, as and when required.

Additionally, you will:

- Build strong rapports with customers and site contacts
- Carry out remote and on-site scheduled maintenance and emergency troubleshooting
- Undertake small works, such as faulty equipment or short cable replacement, as and when required
- Undertake annual site maintenance visits and callouts in line with service level response times
- Assist and work with senior installation engineers on camera installations as part of your training and role development

About You

To join us as CCTV Service Engineer, you will need:

- Experience in or aptitude for a field service or support role
- Strong skills or aptitude for, and interest in, IT
- Good hands-on skills and competency using hand tools
- Good customer facing and organisational skills
- Strong Health & Safety awareness, including the use of ladders
- Ideally, a relevant engineering qualification (e.g. BTEC)
- A willingness to travel frequently within the North West and UK-wide, including occasional overnight stays
- A full, clean UK driving licence

Experience gained within the infrastructure, communications or IT sectors would be beneficial to your application.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. There will be no out of hours callouts or on-call duties.
