Why this could be a great role for you….

We are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team and play a key role in CQC’s statutory reporting.

This role leads a small team that is responsible for the production of our statutory accounts, quarterly reporting to the Department of Health and Social Care, fixed asset and lease management, and VAT returns.

You’ll play a lead role in liaising with external audit and ensuring that CQC maintains financial control and compliance and adheres to best practice.

You will also be responsible for producing accurate cash flow forecasts for, maintaining an accurate fixed asset register and conducting regular reviews with asset owners.

What you will bring…

As a qualified Accountant, you’ll have experience of producing Statutory Accounts and applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and have knowledge of tax legislation.

You’ll be confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders, have an ability to work autonomously, and lead effectively to achieve the CQC Finance strategy.
