Our Building and Estate Management Team deliver block management services for apartment blocks and freehold estates nationwide. Ensuring that our customers live in safe environments and can enjoy their homes, we take responsibility for all aspects of service to the common areas of the development we manage.

We are currently seeking a Retirement Scheme Manager to join us on a permanent, part-time basis, working 16 hours per week.

The Role

As a Retirement Scheme Manager, you’ll ensure our High Oaks Retirement block remains safe, comfortable and secure for residents, by carrying out site inspections and assisting tenants.

Managing building maintenance, you’ll ensure all safety, heating and electrical systems are functioning, the building remains accessible for residents and communal areas are clean.

You will be a friendly face to residents and maintain a visible presence on site during work hours as well as carrying out morning calls if requested.

Additionally, you will:

- Test fire alarms, communication systems and lifts
- Schedule, monitor and record contractors’ activities on site
- Support with the collection of rent or breaches of contract

Who we’re looking for…

An experienced professional. To ensure our building remains safe and secure, you’ll need previous experience of maintaining a retirement or housing property and of providing excellent customer service.

An organised individual. You’ll need the timetabling skills to organise and schedule external contractors to complete essential maintenance and repairs work on the building.

Someone with an eye for detail. You’ll need a focused approach to your work, with the ability to use IT systems accurately and communicate with excellent spelling and grammar.
