We are now looking for an Administrative Officer to join our Swansea or Carmarthen campus on a full time, permanent basis.

- THE ROLE -

You will be required to place a strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service, and will be expected to communicate professionally with students, staff within the Institute and other departments and, in some cases, external partners.

You will be required to work within with relevant University guidelines and regulatory frameworks, to process information promptly and accurately and to meet a range of deadlines across the academic year, including during the student vacation periods.

-ABOUT YOU-

To be considered as an Administrative Officer, you will need:
- Educated to A level or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience of providing high quality administrative support
- Previous experience of providing high-quality customer service and able to demonstrate the use of effective written and spoken skills to communicate and negotiate with individuals, team members and across an organisation.
- Experience of planning, organising and prioritising own work and resources in order to achieve agreed objectives to meet conflicting deadlines. Ability to apply attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate proactivity in undertaking tasks rather than expecting work to be allocated
- An excellent proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages

It would also be beneficial if you have:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience of working in Higher Education
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh - oral and written
