The Organisation

We're B3Living, a social business that helps people who are priced out of the housing market to find a home. Our mission is to make a sustainable, positive change to the housing crisis for our customers and communities. You'll find us working in Broxbourne and across southeast Hertfordshire, where we have 5,000 homes supporting more than 12,000 people.

We are now looking for an assistant to join our HR team, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As an HR Assistant, you will provide support on a variety of tasks within our Human Resources department.

Acting as the first point of contact for queries and requests, you will communicate with colleagues in person, on the phone and via email and online.

You'll also deal with a wide variety of administration activities, from co-ordinating the recruitment process and assisting with new starter inductions through to payroll and systems maintenance.

About You

To be considered as a HR Assistant, you will need:

- Experience in an administrative role
- Personable, approachable and able to engage with people from all
walks of life
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Good level of numeracy
- Eye for detail

Previous HR experience is not necessary. Due to the nature of the role, a basic criminal record (DBS) check will be required.
