Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.

With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellence performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with a local, community based depots which seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

This is the role that’s on offer for the right person:

As a Sales Manager, you will lead and inspire the London Sales team, expand our customer base and deliver excellent customer service and sales growth.

You’ll also account manage key HEP Oils customers and pay frequent visits to ensure long standing, profitable relationships.

A little bit more about the role:

- Manage the London based Field Sales Team and a dotted line to telesales team
- Manage customer accounts
- Work collaboratively with colleagues
- Ensure that the sales team perform all duties in a safe manner
- Provide one on one supervision and support BDEs as needed
- Create and maintain regular monthly competitor activity reports
- Ensure maintenance of target volumes of new oil and UCO delivered to and collected from new customers
- Oversee Credit Control

What are we looking for? As you can imagine, you’ll need a broad range of personal skills to succeed, but we don’t expect you to have everything from the start! We will coach, train and support you, it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.

We will be looking for:

- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Experience managing and directing a sales or customer service team
- Experience of food service, UCO collection, or related industry
- Experience with computer systems, including Excel and CRM systems
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)
