Seasonal Assistant Wardens - Pembrokeshire

Would you like to gain some experience and contribute to the working of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park?

As part of our summer 2023 program, we are now recruiting Seasonal Assistant Wardens to work outdoors in the National Park during the summer months.

Wardens work mainly in teams of 2 and carry out a wide range of practical countryside management tasks including installing and repairing path furniture and surfaces, fencing and stock management. During the summer growing season the team spends most of its time on grass and vegetation cutting on paths and sites throughout the area.

You will:

• be practical
• have the ability to undertake some basic servicing and repair of tools and equipment
• hold a full driving licence.
• Welsh Language skills desirable but not essential

Salary and Benefits:

Basic salary of £20,258, pro rata, per annum (£10.50 per hour) which includes the living allowance supplement. Minimum 26 days holiday rising to 31 days plus public holidays; Local Government Pension Scheme; and flexible working arrangements.
