We are recruiting for a permanent Trainee Support Analyst. You will have support from day one and will be trained to grow the skills and knowledge to support, develop and analyse IT applications.

Overview:

OCS Consulting, are currently recruiting for a permanent Trainee Support Analyst. The successful applicant will also undertake a 24-month Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship. You will work on a variety of interesting projects which will give you exposure to data systems and analytics, supported by colleagues who will be on hand to assist throughout. Alongside this role you will also be given time to study for your qualification during your working week.

What you'll be doing:

• Receive training to learn and develop the skills and knowledge required to earn the Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship qualification.
• Work on a variety of projects to develop, maintain and support our clients’ applications
• Analyse and query client applications and databases to provide fixes to resolve support tickets and/or provide business critical information to the client
• Support incident investigations and produce resolutions within the wider team
• Perform general administration of IT systems
• Assist with the production and support of reports as required by our business and our clients
• Deliver small data analysis projects
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Essential:

• 5 GCSEs, or equivalent, at grades 9-4 or A-C including maths and English

Desirable:

• Level 3 qualification (A-levels / BTEC, etc), ideally in STEM subject OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Salary: £21,000

Location: Borehamwood

Security Clearance Level: OCS work with a variety of clients, some of which may require a DBS check

Other Important Information: Onsite visits to clients may be required as part of this role. Therefore, holding a driving license or the ability to commute easily via public transport is essential.
