The Role

As a Contracts Developer, you will be responsible for the provision of commercial support to the service and projects team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

You will assist the Associate Commercial Director and the Sales Team in the negotiation of terms and conditions of all Projects whilst mitigating and managing the risk exposure within those contracts.

This position is a supportive role to the Associate Commercial Director and Contracts Manager and comes with a comprehensive in-house training programme and support plan for successful career development.

Working with a range of departments, your role will involve:

- Monitoring and presenting all risks to the Associate Commercial Director, Head of Accounts and the CEO before any new contracts are entered into.
- Ensuring all contract documents are accurately presented, authorised and distributed to relevant parties.
- Ensuring customers receive information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Actioning and resolving any invoicing issues in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Sales and Proposals teams on all enquiries with a focus and drive to achieve a successful outcome.

About You

To be considered as a Contracts Developer, you will need:

- Experience relating to construction contracts and/or maintenance contracts.
- Experience of business management, reporting and analysis.
- Effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
- Excellent business management and strong leadership skills.
- A minimum qualification in a Foundation degree, Higher National Diploma, undergraduate degree or equivalent in a subject that covers contract law, such as law, civil or structural engineering, construction management, business or contract management, building studies or quantity surveying.
- A full, valid driving licence.

A training development plan is in place for the successful applicant to grow within their role, working towards a senior member of the Contracts Team.
