We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As our Business Development Manager, you will create and sustain membership opportunities with employers and academia across London, the South East and Wessex.

Working primarily face to face with clients, you will manage key membership accounts, creating and organising tactics to both grow and retain the membership.

You will also ensure all activities, diary management and communications are managed in a timely manner, focusing on key performance indicators.

Additionally, you will:

- Attend conferences and industry forums to develop networks and new contacts
- Contribute to the creation of marketing content and case studies
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of engineers and technicians

Please note, this role will require a reasonable amount of travel and regular overnight stays.

About You

To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need:

- Experience in a complex marketing, business development or sales environment
- The ability to influence, advise and coach others
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent people and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- A full, valid driving licence
