Supervisor - Castell Henllys
Full time - 37 hours per week

Castell Henllys is the only Iron Age village in Britain reconstructed on the exact site where our Celtic ancestors lived 2000 years ago. Owned and managed by the National Park it offers an exciting range of events and activities and a vibrant schools programme that offers lessons from the past to help us conserve the landscape we live in today.

The Supervisor will lead an experienced team to exceed visitor expectations and ensure that every visitor has an excellent experience. Responsibilities will include trading, marketing, events and activities, housekeeping and site maintenance.

Skills and Experience:

• Supervisory and site management experience in the leisure / tourism / visitor management field.
• Excellent levels of customer service together with experience in retail including till and stock systems.
• Enthusiasm for Welsh history and culture together with an understanding and awareness of National Park purposes.
• Excellent organisation, administration and IT skills together with the ability to communicate in Welsh, at levels A1-B1 (Competency framework available by download).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS clearance.

Salary and Benefits:

A salary of £22,777- £24,054, minimum 26 days holiday rising to 31 days plus public holidays, generous local government pension scheme, great flexible working arrangements and career development opportunities.
