About Us

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for a Project Support Officer to join our team for an 18 month contract, working 36 hours per week.

The Role

As a Project Support Officer, you will assist in the delivery of our Landscape Maintenance project in Richmond Park and our Diana, Princess of Wales’ Memorial Playground refurbishment.

Providing excellent administrative support, you will prepare and maintain project documentation, arrange meetings, prepare agendas, circulate papers and take minutes.

Assisting with the financial administration of these two projects, you will raise purchase orders, maintain accurate records of project expenses and prepare financial reports.

Additionally, you will:

- Receive onsite deliveries
- Support the preparation of presentations
- Act as a point of contact between work streams and for external consultants

About You

To be considered as a Project Support Officer, you will need:

- Experience of business administration or project support
- Experience of processing purchase orders, payments and support financial control
- The ability to support effective relationships
- The ability to generate and maintain project documentation
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office suite skills including Word, Excel, Project
- Basic project management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate and disseminate information
