Duties and Key Responsibilities
• To help site management with all aspects of site administration.
• To help site management with all aspects of site purchasing and invoicing.
• To facilitate with the safe running of front of house.
• To maintain a polite helpful manner while taking telephone and email queries from customers, suppliers and other and FCC Environment sites.
• To help site management to maintain the IMS.
• Weighing in and out of vehicles and entering details on to the ‘Gladis’ Weighbridge System using the computer.
• Monitoring Waste Transfer Notes and EWC code usage.
• To assist site manager in ensuring reports are populated and completed within set deadlines.
• To ensure users of the site are inducted in to the site safety procedures and to control and direct the flow of traffic into site.
• To assist the Site Manager in controlling and co-ordinating the efficient operation of the weighbridge in accordance with management instructions, all health & safety Working Procedures and Legislative Requirements, Planning Permissions, Environmental Permit etc. at all times.
• All accidents, near-misses or dangerous situations to be recorded and reported in accordance with FCC’s procedures, including any violence, threats or acts of intimidation against you, as well as any breach of rules, acts of dishonesty, malpractice or corruption by any visitor to the site, or member of staff.
• To be aware of and conversant with the relevant details of the environmental permit, Working Plan and Risk Assessments.
• To protect the Company’s ability to trade by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times and especially that concerning health and safety in the workplace and the ‘Duty of Care’.
• To carry out housekeeping duties within weighbridge office, welfare facilities and site offices.
• To carry out and ensure relevant contractor documents are correct and to carry out site inductions and to keep up to date.
• To undertake any other duties reasonably requested by FCC management as and when required.
• Attend and participate in monthly meetings regarding company and site issues.

Experience
• Demonstrable skills in providing administrative support and ensuring customer needs are met.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office applications and purchasing software desirable.
• Previous experience and knowledge of weighbridge operations and Duty of Care desirable.

Essential Knowledge
• Satisfactory completion of the relevant Competency Management System modules.
• Completion of all other training as defined within the Training Matrix.
