The Role

As an Events & Administrative Assistant, you will take on a supporting role reporting to our PA to the Directors and Office Manager. Specifically, you will assist with administrative duties, events planning and internal communications.

Delivering excellent support, you will maintain our Office Management filing system and noticeboard, assist with staff admin such as issuing passes and support maintenance activities.

You will also update our staff intranet, distribute staff newsletters, draft articles for the company website and help organise staff events.

Additionally, you will:

- Support the administration of our High Quality Residential (HQR) London Charitable Trust
- Ensure the office remains fully stocked with supplies
- Produce minutes for office staff meetings

About You

To be considered as an Events & Administrative Assistant, you will need:

- A good understanding of event planning
- Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically Instagram & LinkedIn
- The ability to manage your time and workload effectively
- The ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
- Excellent document management and record-keeping skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Good IT competency in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new software skills, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express and the company’s internal communications platform
- Previous experience taking and writing minutes (desirable)
- The confidence to deal with all levels of staff

Ideally, you will have experience of working as an administrator in the construction industry.
