Programme Assistant

We are experts in digital learning and community building and support over 7,500 learners a year.

With a base in Oxford, UK, we are a virtual team which spans 13 countries. We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised Programme Assistant with good interpersonal and communication skills to join the INASP team to help us as we nurture new partnerships, manage our projects, deliver our digital courses and develop our programme.

The Role

The Programme Assistant will play a key role in the programme team, to ensure the effective delivery of one or more INASP projects. This will include administrative support, including contractual and financial tracking, running of AuthorAID Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), event logistics, data collection and support to funder reporting. The Programme Assistant will also provide general administrative support to the Director of Programmes and wider programme team.

Key Responsibilities

In close coordination with the relevant line or project manager/lead, the Programme Assistant will:

- Provide administrative support to the team, including to track contracting, invoicing and spending across one or more projects
- Provide logistical support to the organisation of events, workshops and meetings
- Provide administrative support to the running of INASP’s online learning programme, specifically AuthorAID Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
- Support the team to maintain online platforms and systems, including keeping records up to date in INASP’s CRM and MEL databases
- Support the team to develop proposals for new work

We are looking for candidates with

- Good organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A methodical, thorough approach with attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of and interest in international development and higher education
- Administrative experience from a project or small team

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Duration: Permanent
Time: Full time
Location: Remote with periodic travel to Oxford.
