Blue Cross are one of the UK’s leading animal welfare organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.

What is the role?
In this role you will be supporting the delivery of fundraising projects and activities which provide much needed income, which in turn, allows us to help more pets and continue our great work. You will do this by providing project management support and also encouraging the use of our Fundraising Hub which provides extremely useful data and metrics.

Working closely with the Group Head of Fundraising and Retail, you will also work on managing un-explored opportunities and help to identify further ways in which we can improve effectiveness and efficiencies within fundraising. You will work with individuals across the charity to support fundraising activities and help teams to raise further income and promote fundraising ideas.

What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
• Experience of Fundraising
• Knowledge of fundraising databases
• Experience of developing, and adapting to, innovative approaches to fundraising activity and new projects
• Basic project management experience
• Excellent written and face to face communication skills, with an aptitude for interacting with colleagues and supporters on all levels
• An ability to inspire others
• Ability to respond positively to sudden opportunities and changing priorities
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), databases and the Internet

It would be great if you also had:
• Knowledge of CARE fundraising database
