The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for a Database Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 36 hours per week.

The Role

As a Database Officer, you will work with the Database Manager to run our two CRM systems, building on the existing Salesforce system and helping to implement and establish use of Microsoft Dynamics to manage enquiries.

Providing ongoing support to both our Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce systems, you will establish data cleansing schedules, respond to data queries and manage form creation.

Assisting the transition to MS Dynamics, you will establish data collection processes, import data from across our organisation and provide training to the Visitor and Business Team.

Additionally, you will process Gift Aid Donations and support marketing, fundraising and retail by providing audience segmentation on Salesforce.

About You

To be considered as a Database Officer, you will need:

- Experience working with either Salesforce or Dynamics, ideally both
- Experience of conducting data import, export, segmentation and reporting
- Knowledge of data manipulation tools
- Knowledge of GDPR and PECR compliance
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong planning and scheduling skills
- A willingness to keep up to date with the availability of new technology

Ideally, you will have experience of using a test environment to establish and fix bugs.

Experience of working in a charity environment would be advantageous, as would an understanding of digital fundraising, communications and marketing functions.
