Job Title: IT Technical Engineer

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for an experience IT Technical Engineer to join our amazing team at The B2W Group! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation based in Manchester City Centre.

The main role of the IT Technical Engineer is to work as part of a team comprising of internal and outsourced members to contribute to the excellent on-premise and remote IT support of the business and contribute to the effective operation, maintenance and repair of all computers and computer-related resources throughout the business.

To ensure success as an IT Technical Engineer, you will possess the strong technical aptitude needed to help set up, establish, maintain and support all business-wide technical solutions. Ultimately, an outstanding IT Technical Engineer should be able to thrive in the rapidly changing industry of information technology.

Main Responsibilities
• Operate as a Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer, with demonstrable expertise in deploying, administering, and supporting Microsoft 365 Platform solutions and utilizing such tools as: Azure AD, Exchange Online, InTune, EndPoint Security, PowerApps, SharePoint administration, Teams Administration, Power Automate, etc
• Perform day-to-day administration of the Microsoft 365 tenant, including, licensing, compliance, connectivity, etc and ensure the Office 365 suite of services are performing correctly.
• Responsibility for Firewall administration, troubleshooting and resolving, as well as LAN and WAN management.
• Ensure the company’s backups and Disaster Recovery systems are functioning correctly and can be used to recover the IT systems in accordance with Recovery Point and Recovery Time objectives.
• Perform regular security monitoring and identify any possible intrusions, threats or virus outbreaks, managing Antivirus and License Manager across the business.
• Establish and maintain relationships with IT Vendors/providers, such as Microsoft, AV, WAN, Backups, UCaaS, Print Services, as well as hosted software vendors such as Titus, Pellcomp, Freshdesk, BKSB, OneFile, etc.

The Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years' experience as an IT Technical Engineer or related role, with demonstrable knowledge and expertise of IT tools and concepts, such as operating systems and internet protocol suites.
• Demonstrable admin-level knowledge and expertise of Azure AD, EndPoint Manager, Teams, SharePoint, VoIP, etc, as well as Firewall, Antivirus, Backup and DR Provision, LAN and WAN Management and iOS knowledge.
• Further or Higher Education IT-related qualification.
• Able to work full-time in our Manchester Head Office.
