The Organisation

Our client is a faith-based organisation comprising of three Districts (Southern, North Western and North Eastern). Each District is made up from circuits. Circuits are made up of “societies” throughout Ireland.

Our client is now looking for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week.

The Role

As an Accountant, you will support the healthy finances of our client’s organisation through an array of accounting activities.

You will assist with the preparation of management accounts, year-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in addition to being involved in significant system and process work.

Supporting our client’s treasurers, you will assist them with understanding the operation of the finance system and creating and running reports to answer their queries.

Additionally, you will

- Help with processing returns templates to the accounting system
- Assist with regulatory submissions as required
- Aid with all audit processes and liaising with external auditors
- Support Pension Scheme accounts

About You

To be considered as an Accountant, you will need:

- To be a qualified accountant
- Experience working in a busy finance setting
- Experience of using a financial accounting package
