We are Cooksongold, and we’ve been proudly supporting jewellers across the country since 1918, with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. We form part of the Heimerle + Meule Group, one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals. Based in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, we are a friendly, well-established but growing business of 280 employees. We are currently looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join our friendly finance team.

What you will be doing

- Providing an efficient and effective service to customers in the processing, chasing and maintenance of their account
- Controlling a designated credit control ledger
- Completing reconciliation of accounts
- Co-ordination of collection activity in line with cash collection KPIs
- Processing of new account applications and credit limit reviews
- Investigate the reason for credit failures

What you need to succeed

- Experience of working in credit control
- GCSE Maths and English
- Excellent computer skills with excellent knowledge of excel
- Team player
- Clear and concise communication skills

Hours of work

37.5 hours (Mon-Fri) 08:45am - 5pm (Mon -Thurs) 9am - 4pm on Friday

Hybrid working with at least 2 days a week to be worked on site.
