Overview of Main Responsibilities:

The monitoring services team is looking for a Consultant Engineer with experience in Electrical Industry combined with software skills, good-time management skills with attention to detail.
• Work within the monitoring services team to deliver LV Services work such as
o LV cable fault data analysis, assessment and reporting
o Installation, commissioning, training and demonstration of LV Instruments Portfolio
o Fleet Management and Diagnostics of LV Instruments
• General service support across the VisNet Business/ EA Technology Group
• Project management and delivery of existing and future Monitoring Services Projects
• Work across business units to ensure knowledge share and continuous improvement
• Role will be split between office and periodic offsite work
• Occasional overseas/offshore working (additional allowances apply)

Essential skills and experience
• Electrical background essential e.g. time served as Electrician or worked in Power Industry
• Experience and good software skills essential, e.g. ability to work with scripts/algorithms, spreadsheets, and data platforms.
• Previous programming/software development experience advantageous
• Attention to detail and excellent Health and Safety record.
• Good communication skills, oral and written
• Previous experience of HV/LV testing/diagnostics/maintenance would be an advantage
• Willing to occasionally work overseas/offshore (previous experience an advantage)
