Llanion Maintenance Officer
Part Time (14 hours per week) - Permanent

Do you have experience of caretaking, maintenance, building supervision or a DIY or trade background? The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has an exciting new opportunity to join our Llanion Services department as an Llanion Park Maintenance Officer.
As part of this role, you will ensure the building, internal spaces and grounds are a safe, secure and a pleasant working environment for staff and visitors. This involves carrying out practical work, supervising contract staff and undertaking compliance and monitoring work.

You will undertake general maintenance work including decoration, basic plumbing and drainage works and the replacement and maintenance of fixtures and fittings. The post holder will also undertake basic grounds and building checks, whilst ensuring site security, effective recycling management and the daily operation of the biomass heating system.

We are looking for someone who has:
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks, and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
• Caretaking and maintenance experience
• Relevant qualifications or experience in a trade background
• Basic electronic record-keeping ability

Please note that this role is 14 hours a week, with some flexibility to cover alternative shifts. Mondays and Tuesdays; 07:30- 10:30 & 14:00 - 18:00.

Salary and Benefits:

A salary of £23,500 - £23,893, pro rata, (to be reviewed under pay and grading review), minimum 25 days holiday rising to 30 days plus public holidays (pro rata), generous local government pension scheme, flexible working arrangements and career development opportunities.
