We wish to appoint a Mechanical Design/Process Design Engineer to join our Projects & Design Team.

The Role :

As a Mechanical Design/Process Design Engineer, you will assist in profitably of engineering the Edina UK Sales and Projects Business, ensuring that they are designed in a cost-effective way as measured by the management accounts.
You will be responsible for leading mechanical design on projects and responsible for specifications, mechanical design, P&ID drawings, detail drawings, general arrangements and equipment schedules. You will provide design support in overseas activities and support the Sales and Projects teams whilst providing technical calculations and assessments, including safety assessments

About you :

To be considered as Mechanical Design/Process Design Engineer, you will need;

- To hold a minimum qualification of HNC/D or degree qualified in mechanical engineering, with a focus on generation.
- To have a minimum of 2 years' experience in successful technical management and development of Energy Projects.
- To be a competent Mechanical Engineer with experience in power generation, pipework and ventilation design, CDM and health & safety.
- To have effective IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience using AutoCAD 3D or equivalent.
- To hold a full current driving licence.
