At our upcoming group interview event on the 27th of April 2024, from 11:00 to 16:00, you'll have the opportunity to walk away with a job offer on the same day! We have 12 permanent contracts and unlimited casual worker contracts available for our Play and Youth Scheme department.

Applicants who cannot make the group recruitment day will still be eligible to apply and will be offered an alternative interview date if successful.

The Role:

As a Play and Youth Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in providing enriching activities for children and young people accessing our services. Your responsibilities will include facilitating creative play, ensuring comfort and safety, and fostering a positive environment. Plus, there's ample opportunity for personal and professional growth within our dynamic team.

Shifts:

- Term time evening clubs Monday-Friday 17:30-21:30
- All year-round Saturdays 9:30-16:45 OR 10:30-17:45
- All year-round Sundays 9:30-16:45
- School Holiday clubs Monday-Friday 9:30-16:45 OR 10:30-17:45

Requirements:

- Strong play skills and a talent for engaging with children and young people
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Proficiency in handling hoists and providing personal care
- Punctuality and reliability
- Basic IT literacy
