ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment in both an advisory role and supporting residents and colleagues alike. This role will
• positively contribute to the Income Services Team and be responsible for the effective and efficient collection of service charges and recovery of major works, service charge, any other specified debt from leaseholders and shared owners.
• provide a high-quality and excellent service, working collaboratively with colleagues in across the council with a varied workload working with legal documents and issues as well as working flexibly to tight deadlines whilst being called on to give
advice when needed.
• support manager and contribute to setting service charges each year and work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.
• To provide an empathetic, customer focused response to all general enquiries related to leasehold service charges and major works.


ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have
• Knowledge and experience of leasehold management, including thorough knowledge of key legislation and risks.
• Experience working within tight statutory constraints in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to build excellent relationships across the business with all relevant stakeholders.
• An excellent standard of accuracy, numeracy, literacy and is analytical and logical with the ability to interpret complex information within leases or legislation and handle large volumes of data.
• Excellent customer care, communication skills both oral and written, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
• Confidence in dealing with complex enquiries, as well as liaising both internal and external stakeholders.
• High organisational skills and unparalleled follow through with high level of attention to detail and IT competency.
• Excellent team working skills, building, and maintaining relations, with managers, colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
• Resilience, persistence, and determination to achieve targets.
