We are currently seeking to appoint a Service Support Supervisor to join our team in Stockport, Manchester.

The Role

As a Service Support Supervisor you will efficiently maintain a high level of availability of all Edina contract engines and efficiently diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on Edina installations / Other user's installations. You will schedule all engineers work in accordance with manufacturers guidance ensuring that all service schedules are adhered to and completed in the most timely manner and support engineers in fault finding (local & remotely) on Edina installations / Other user's installations. You will supervise the Service Operation with the clear goal of maximum efficiency and effectiveness, achieving high standard service performance.

About You

To be considered as a Service Support Supervisor, you’ll need:

- To hold a minimum, an ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or motor vehicle studies or equivalent.
- To be a time-served technician in a mechanical discipline, ideally with at least three years’ experience.
- To be a competent technician with considerable skills and in-depth knowledge of MWM gas/diesel engines.
- To have effective IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
- To hold a full, valid driving licence.

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm.

This role will involve weekend work and possible out of hours work. You will be required to participate in an established 24 hour callout program based on a rota system.
