- THE ROLE -

The postholder will provide in-depth knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of fashion fabrication and production in order to support a range of activities in fashion design and construction.

The role mainly supports the following programmes: BA Hons Textile Art, Design and Fashion; MSc Fashion and Textile Retail Management; BA Hons Product Design; MSc Art Therapy; Foundation (year 0); and other courses and activities as required within the Belfast School of Art.

- ABOUT YOU -

- Have a degree, foundation degree, NVQ4, or equivalent in an area relevant to Fashion Design and Construction.
- Have previous experience in the use of industry standard machines including knowledge of relevant processes, regulations and quality standards for Fashion Design and Construction.
- Have experience and in-depth understanding of pattern blocks and the development of metric patterns and fabric draping for clothing.
