As the new Fundraising Manager- Partnership Giving you will actively lead in identifying, cultivating, and maintaining philanthropic relationships with high-value partners such as high-net individuals, institutional funders, and corporations. This role is pivotal for generating new streams of substantial income for World Animal Protection UK, aligning partner interests with organisational goals.

World Animal Protection is the global voice for animal welfare, with more than 70 years’ experience campaigning for a world where animals live free from cruelty and suffering.

What will you be doing?

Within the scope of the role, you will be responsible for the following:

•Develop and implement tailored cultivation strategies for high-net individuals, institutional funders, and corporations.
•Actively manage and grow a portfolio of high-value relationships.
•Work collaboratively with the Head of Partnership Giving to meet departmental objectives.
•The role holder will comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities

•Lead proactive efforts to identify new high-value donors through networking, research, and collaboration with other teams.
•Develop personalised engagement plans to steward relationships, including face-to-face meetings, exclusive events, and updates.
•Coordinate with the Fundraising Operations team for data segmentation, analytics, and reporting.
•Utilise RE NXT CRM for donor management, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records.
•Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Head of Partnership Giving.
•Foster multi-departmental cooperation for donor engagement, particularly with the UK Communications and Campaigns teams.
•Create compelling proposals, tailored presentations, and other materials to engage prospective donors.
•Represent World Animal Protection at external events, conferences, and meetings.
•Ensure compliance with ethical fundraising practices and GDPR regulations.
•Establish a rigorous donor acknowledgment and recognition programme.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who meets the following criteria:

Essential
•Significant experience in managing high-value relationships.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Familiarity with RE NXT or similar CRM systems.
•Demonstrable ability to craft effective fundraising proposals and reports.
•Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
•Adeptness at cross-functional collaboration.
•Exceptional organisational and time-management capabilities.
•Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, global setting.
•A high degree of emotional intelligence and sensitivity to donor needs.


Desirable
•Prior experience to working with partner organisations and funders across international projects.
•Capability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to change.
