A hidden gem in London, Kenwood is situated on the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens. Our passionate team of volunteers welcome our visitors to the house with its breath-taking interiors and stunning world-class art collection.

You will work with the General Manager and other departmental Managers on site in leading the team at Kenwood to deliver an inspirational visitor experience that involves staff and volunteers and is financially sustainable through the achievement of agreed budgets. Your leadership style will demonstrate the English Heritage behaviours of Collaboration, Innovation and Empowerment in everything you do, where people thrive and are motivated to deliver inspirational visitor experiences and to care for this special place with the highest standards of conservation and presentation.

You'll work collaboratively with our internal team to oversee the delivery of all commercial activity; supporting three retail outlets, hosting exceptional private hospitality and commercial events, welcoming a filming and delivering an extensive events programme from family friendly sessions to festive trails.

We are looking for someone who can bring their experience of providing excellent visitor experiences and strong leadership skills to inspire our Visitor Assistants. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, independent working and be a confident communicator with visitors, external stakeholders and colleagues.
