The Vegan Society makes veganism more accessible, and an easily adopted approach, by supporting individuals, policy and decision-makers, caterers, manufacturers, healthcare professionals and the media.

The Commercial Services Department is responsible for the majority of income generated via The Vegan Trademark licencing fees and provides product checking services, account handling, and promotional opportunities for our Trademark Holders.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for an account base across multiple industries and regions.

Working within the Client Relations Team, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, focused on licence renewals, growth and relationship management.

You will build strong relationships with our client base and design and implement bespoke communication and account plans, aligning with The Commercial Services Department and Client Relations Team objectives.

Hitting monthly income targets through account retention activities, you will utilise workflows within the CRM, using our processes and touch points to maximise efficiency and respond to any bespoke requirements to improve our clients’ experience.

Additionally, you will:

- Develop a good understanding of the FMCG market focusing on the Vegan Trademark
- Explore development and expansion initiatives within vertical and existing markets
- Present Vegan Trademark Standards to current and potential Trademark Holders
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to maximise growth
- Contribute to the department’s events plan and projects

About You

To be considered as an Account Manager, you will need:

- Experience in account management
- Proven experience in implementing client retention strategies
- Experience using CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)
- A good understanding of FMCG markets
- Basic knowledge of animal-derived products
- English, Maths and Science GCSEs A-C grade (or equivalent)
