PWY YDYM NI

Chwaraeon Cymru yw’r sefydliad cenedlaethol sy’n gyfrifol am ddatblygu a hybu chwaraeon a gweithgarwch corfforol yng Nghymru. Ni yw prif gynghorwr Llywodraeth Cymru ar bob mater yn ymwneud â chwaraeon ac rydym yn gyfrifol am ddosbarthu cyllid y Loteri Genedlaethol.

Mae Cydraddoldeb, Amrywiaeth a Chynhwysiant wrth galon popeth rydym yn ei wneud yn Chwaraeon Cymru. Ceir rhagor o wybodaeth am hyn yn ein Datganiad Cydraddoldeb, Amrywiaeth a Chynhwysiant ar ein gwefan.

SUT BYDDWCH YN CYFRANNU

Mae gan chwaraeon y pwer i newid bywydau a thrawsnewid cymunedau. Rydym yn cydnabod potensial chwaraeon i fynd i'r afael â phroblemau cymdeithasol cymhleth ac yn cydnabod yr angen am weithredu gwirioneddol i gyd-fynd â'n hymrwymiad i gydraddoldeb. Mae Chwaraeon Cymru wedi ymrwymo i gefnogi system chwaraeon gynhwysol sy’n blaenoriaethu tegwch a chyfiawnder cymdeithasol lle gall pawb berthyn, teimlo’n ddiogel a chael profiad pleserus. Rydym yn ceisio ehangu ein gweithlu ymhellach a chynrychioli cymunedau nad ydynt yn cael eu gwasanaethu'n ddigonol.

Mae dull buddsoddi cymunedol Chwaraeon Cymru yn ganolog i’r uchelgais hwn. Rydym wedi ymrwymo i ailbennu ein blaenoriaethau i ailadeiladu system chwaraeon gwbl gynhwysol ac mae hon yn rôl gyffrous sy’n flaenllaw ar ein siwrnai ni. Ein nod ni yw dod â chwaraeon i bob cymuned, gan ddatgloi cyfleoedd ar gyfer tegwch a chefnogi gwell perthnasoedd â chymunedau sydd heb gael eu cynrychioli gan chwaraeon yn draddodiadol.

Bydd deiliad y swydd yn cydweithredu â’r rhwydweithiau presennol a’r rhai sy'n dod i'r amlwg i sefydlu rhwydwaith cefnogi allanol sydd wedi’i seilio ar ddilysrwydd ac ymddiriedaeth.

Ni fydd arnoch angen unrhyw wybodaeth flaenorol am gyllid Chwaraeon Cymru oherwydd bydd hyfforddiant a chefnogaeth yn cael eu darparu fel rhan o gyfnod sefydlu llawn.

GYDA PHWY FYDDWCH CHI’N GWEITHIO

Byddwch yn gweithio'n agos gyda thîm buddsoddi Chwaraeon Cymru, gan sicrhau bod llais y gymuned yn cael ei gynrychioli yn ein swyddogaethau grantiau a helpu i gefnogi'r effaith fwyaf posibl o ffrydiau cyllido’r sefydliad. Byddwch hefyd yn gweithio'n uniongyrchol gyda'r timau polisi a chyfathrebu i arddangos y gwaith sy’n cael ei wneud ar lefel gymunedol a rhannu'r hyn sydd wedi’i ddysgu o'r perthnasoedd hynny.

Yn allanol byddwch yn gweithio i dargedu cyllid tuag at glybiau a sefydliadau o gymunedau amrywiol sydd ddim yn cael eu gwasanaethu’n ddigonol, gan ganolbwyntio ar ehangu cyllid a chyfleoedd yn ôl hil, rhywedd, anabledd, cyfeiriadedd rhywiol a chefndiroedd economaidd-gymdeithasol.

Working Hours - 37 hours (consideration will be given to job sharing / reduced hours in line with our flexible working policy)

Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds.

The post holder will collaborate with existing and emerging networks to establish an external support network founded on authenticity and trust.

You will require no prior knowledge of Sport Wales funding as training and support will be provided as part of a full induction.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will work closely with the Sport Wales investment team, ensuring the community voice is represented in our grants functions and helping to support the maximum impact of the organisation’s funding streams. You will also work directly with the policy and communications teams to showcase the work that is done at community level and sharing the learning from those relationships.

Externally, you will work to target funding towards clubs and organisations from underserved diverse communities, focusing on expanding funding and opportunities by race, gender, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic backgrounds.

The post holder will collaborate with existing and emerging networks to establish an external support network founded on authenticity and trust.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

With the role focused on establishing trusted relationships across new community networks, you will need strong relationship building skills and the ability to communicate with individuals, groups and communities in their preferred settings.

Understanding and knowledge of the needs and motivations of different underserved communities in Wales is critical. Most importantly is the ability to listen, learn and support.

Good proactive organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload especially under time constraints with conflicting demands.
