The role

Our client is looking for a BI Developer to develop end-to-end analytics solutions that support business intelligence, data analysis, and decision-making processes, e.g., designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions to support work across their organisation.

You will deliver well-designed, easy to maintain solutions that meet requirements and are delivered on time. This should be done whilst following agile values & principles, working collaboratively with product developers, third-party development partners, and other stakeholders. You will be a key point of contact for analytics initiatives across the organisation, helping to create a community of practice and promoting the use of Power BI for reporting & analytics.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, & maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
- Provide technical support & troubleshooting for BI solutions/platforms.
- Design and implement efficient data models and ETL processes.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards & reports.
- Optimise BI solutions for performance and scalability.

What you'll need

- Extensive experience of Power BI, Power Query (M) and DAX.
- Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).

- Technical knowledge of some (or all) of the following:
SQL
APIs & Systems Integration
Azure
Data Warehousing & Microsoft tools (SQL Server, Fabric, Dataverse etc.)
Power Platform outside of Power BI (Power Automate, Power Apps)
